About the role

Aspetto is seeking a detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Intern to support corporate documentation, regulatory research, contract reviews, and internal compliance initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity for a student interested in corporate law, business regulations, and emerging technologies to gain practical experience in a fast-paced, growing company.

Your impact

Assist with organizing, reviewing, and maintaining corporate and legal documentation.
Conduct research on corporate governance, business regulations, and compliance requirements.
Support contract reviews by identifying key provisions, obligations, and documentation requirements.
Assist with preparing reports, summaries, and internal compliance documents.
Utilize AI-powered tools to support legal research, document analysis, and workflow management.
Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify required information.
Track outstanding documentation, action items, and project deadlines.
Support special projects involving corporate legal and regulatory matters.

What you bring

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Philosophy, Business Administration, Pre-Law, or a related field.
Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to review complex documents and summarize information accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Comfortable learning new software and AI-powered tools.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company information.
Ability to work on-site in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
