Aspetto, Inc. (Aspetto) is proud to announce the win of a 4-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) K9 MVS Program Contract from the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA). As a founding member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Norway has been an active participant since inception. Currently, the NDMA is an agency directly subordinate to the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defence (RNMD), and its main task is to equip the Norwegian Armed Forces with relevant and modern technical and tactical equipment.
NDMA is the RNMD’s commercial and technical designated procurement and divestment authority. NDMA plans for the future and establishes projects to meet the needs of military defense strategies as well as other defense agencies. The NDMA formulates the necessary regulatory framework, certifies, authorizes and controls technical issues within the agency’s following five divisions: Naval Systems, Air Systems, Land Systems, Communication Information Systems, and General Material.
Aspetto’s Tech to Tactical market leads have planned and developed a corporate-wide strategy to support not only the U.S. military and law enforcement agencies, but to expand the company’s product and service lines across NATO and its allies. The RNMD is a new NATO customer for Aspetto and will fully integrate the company’s mission of providing seamless technical and tactical products and services to all members of NATO.
On this new contract award, Aspetto and the NDMA will come together and further demonstrate Aspetto’s commitment as a global solutions provider by integrating technical and tactical K9 defense solutions.
“Aspetto achieved this international prime contract via our research and development advancements and collaborative development of tech and tactical prototypes, which are now in production”, says Abbas Haider - Aspetto Chief Executive Officer. Haider further added, “Aspetto continues to harness this strategy by investing in ripe and relevant tech to advance military, law enforcement, and first responder operations across the globe”.
As part of this award, Aspetto’s innovative, K9-transported camera surveillance systems, will provide RNMD Handlers with a seamless interface to enhance their working animal’s safety, performance, and field operations for many years to come.
As featured in Forbes magazine, Aspetto is one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies and a back-to-back Inc. 5000 awardee for 2021 & 2022.
