TSSi / Aspetto Selected to Provide Female Body Armor to Air Force Security Forces Personnel
Fredericksburg, VA, June 24, 2020, Aspetto, Inc., is proud to announce that, in partnership with TSSi, they have been awarded a Delivery Order Modification to provide thousands of female Air Force Security Forces personnel with body armor, specifically a Modular Scalable 4-Tier Armor System. The delivery order can be further modified through the end of the fiscal year 2022 to allow for additional vests to be ordered.
The contract to TSSi of Harrisonburg, VA, is for the Aspetto “Mach V” body armor designed to fit female end-user. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Female Fitment Program utilized the U.S. Air Force’s Try, Decide Buy IDIQ for this contract. Aspetto’s Female Body Armor Kit outperformed the other submissions during the assessment.
