The platform combines autonomous navigation, integrated sensing, electric propulsion, GPS, and survivor-detection capabilities to travel toward a person in distress, confirm that the individual has secured themselves to the vehicle, and return them to a designated recovery point. The system may also operate under remote human control when mission conditions require direct operator involvement.
Built as more than a single-purpose rescue device, the underlying architecture represents a foundation for future autonomous maritime missions across defense, homeland security, emergency response, and commercial operations.
